Origin
Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea) is a plant that grows up to one meter tall and has oval leaves and a beautiful purple flower. It is known under various other names, including Black Sampson, Snakeroot, Indian Head and Comb flower. It comes from the great plains of the United States of America. Well known by the native Indians, Coneflower was first introduced in Europe as an ornamental flower. Very rapidly we discovered the beneficial effects of its roots on our health as it allows our body to increase its resistance and activates blood circulation. In many countries, the local population has taken up the habit of eating Coneflower during the month preceding winter to protect themselves against its rigours.
Action
The root of the Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea) helps our body to increase its natural immune system. We use it essentially in autumn and winter to prevent the immune weaknesses of our body mainly the ones that affect our breathing system.
