Origin
The vine (Vitis vinifera) is a plant, which has been cultivated nearly everywhere in the world, especially in the more temperate zones, as much for its fruits as for the wine we make from it. The ligneous species has beautiful red or green-yellow fruits and some vineyards are so huge that they spread until the horizon. The grape marc is what is left of the fruit of the grapes after the juice has been squeezed out.
Action
It is an excellent anti-oxidant that can be recommended for the occasional smoker. It also helps the body to get rid of fatty components and so to diminish the ungraceful rolls of fat. It is also excellent to lighten the weight in the legs and has a positive action on the orange peel effect. Moreover it is an excellent tonic.
Active components
The grape marc (Vitis vinifera) is composed of mucilage, flavones, anthocyans, and condensed tannins. Resveratrol, a phytoalexin, is characteristic of grapes.
